A very unusual heart shaped quartz pendant - the quartz is hawks eye quartz, similar to tigers eye, but with a much greener iridescent background. The stripe is honey gold. This is an interesting piece, as the patterns in the quartz move with the light. The suspension loop is 15ct gold. This item would date from the late 19th to early 20th century. Very good condition. The flower is set with a 3mm diameter red stone ( a faux ruby) and there is a 4mm diameter blue stone (faux sapphire) set at the top of the leaves. The pendant measures 24mm high including the suspension loop, by 20mm wide (15/16 inch by 3/4 inch). The chain is also 14 carat gold, and is a very fine belcher link, 420mm long (16.1/2 inches).
