C5665

Three Matching Dragonware Saucers. Three saucers, fine porcelain Japanese dragon ware, each measuring 14cm diameter (5.1/2 inches). These match a teapot set and some side plates that we have elsewhere in this category. They are in excellent condition, with just one tiny chip to the gold band. The pattern of the dragon is raised and has a scaly effect created by enamel dots. Gold rims, and on the reverse side is a lustre ware glaze, and a mark in red reading “Yamada China, Japan” with a leaves or wreath motif. Very pretty - could be mounted on a wall to good effect.
