4397
19th Century Blue & White Handled Dish, Willo A beautiful 19th century dish, with shaped sides and handles. The pattern is a willow style, Chinese-influenced pattern, but in addition to the blue and white, there is also pink, green and iron red. No maker’s marks, as it would have been part of a large service, but it would be from an English pottery. It has a pattern mark, handpainted in iron red "134" with what looks like IL or 14 over it. Handpainted decoration to the handles in ochre yellow. Would date from early to mid 1800s. Measures 28cm across, handle to handle (11 inches). It stands 5cm (2 inches) high. Excellent condition - just one tiny 1cm long glaze firing crack on rear. No faults.
Circa: 19th Century
Condition: Excellent
Country of Origin: GB

C8542
Victorian Staffordshire Small Jug. Very pretty little Victorian 19th century jug (circa 1873), with floral pattern in flow blue and highlight colours.
Very much in the Mason’s Ironstone style - could possibly be Masons or Ashworths, but certainly Staffordshire potteries. Design name is Lilleshall.
Jug measures 12.5 cm high (5 inches), and 14 cm handle to spout (5.1/2 inches). Condition is very good, with some minor faults: Bruise to the underneath foot rim, and a small hairline to the very bottom of the handle where it meets the jug body. Lovely item for display or for a collection.
Circa: Mid to Late 19th Century
Condition: Very Good - see description

7641
Georgian Period Masons Ironstone Plate A beautiful early 19th century Georgian period Masons Ironstone circular plate with polychrome Japan decoration in colours of navy and brick red - the imari palette. Diameter is 26cm ( 10.1/4 inches). 3.2cm high (1.1/4 inches). Mark is for G.M. & C.J. Mason for 1813-1829. The front of the plate is in very good condition, but the reverse has a small rim chip on underside, and patches of dirt/discolouration to underside rim - this plate has probably been hanging on a wall for years, and this is a build-up of grime etc. which may have penetrated an area of the glaze. A lovely plate with a pretty face.
