Aynsley Breakfast Cup and Saucer, Wake Up. Quaint cup and saucer in the tennis cup style - but instead it has the message "Wake Up!!!" and a lovely hand highlighted rooster crowing at the rising sun. Nice handle at the side of the saucer makes it easy to carry. Made by top English pottery J. Aynsley & Sons in Staffordshire, England. It carries two registration marks, which dated it between 1905 and about 1912. Saucer is about 17.5 cm wide by 11 cm deep (7 inches by 4.1/4 inches), and the little cup is 5 cm high and 7.5 cm diameter (2 inches by 3 inches). Excellent condition. We have a matching cup and saucer elsewhere in this category if you wanted to buy a pair.

Wonderful Aynsley Handpainted Bowl. A really pretty little bowl - fine bone china, made by Aynsley, England. (Pattern number 6591).
Nicely gilded rims and foot, and gilded outlines to the leaf designs. Hand painted, with soft background pattern of leaves. Large red autumn leaf pattern in foreground.
Bowl measures 6.5 cm high, and 10 cm diameter at top (2.1/2 inches and 4 inches).
Excellent condition.

Hammersley Coffee Can and Saucer, Vintage. Pretty gilded bone china coffee can and saucer by prestigious English pottery, Hammersley. Has the Hammersley mark, and also the retailer’s mark for T.Goode & Co Ltd, London. Can is 5.75 cm high and 6.l4 cm diameter (2.1/4 inches by 2.1/2 inches). Excellent condition. Circa 1939 plus.

Hammersley Small Sugar Bowl. Pretty little sugar bowl, typical Hammersly with lavish gilding and lovely floral pattern. Made for T.Goode & Co Ltd, London. Carries the Hammersley mark . Excellent condition except for one small area of wear on the gilded band. Measures 5 cm high and 7.3 cm diameter (about 2 inches by 2.7/8 inches).

Pretty Hammersley Tea Set, 14 pieces. Good quality English bone china 14 piece set by Hammersley - this pottery is known for the beauty of their patterns, and this set is no exception. Lovely floral pattern, and attractively shaped cups give this set an edge. The cups are squared, and echo the side plates and cake plate. There are four trios, a cake plate, and a sugar bowl. No chips, just a few little faint tea coloured spots in the bottom of a few items, and one little blind hairline stain. These may clean, I haven’t tried anything on them. Good sized standard tea cups.

Hammersley Gilded Demi Tasses and Saucer. Gorgeous little coffee can and saucer, made in fine bone china by Hammersley, one of England’s fine potteries. Dates from circa 1912-1939, probably towards the earlier date for this mark. It unfortunately has a chip and small hairline at the rim , being otherwise perfect. The decorative quality as a display item is all there though. The gilding is tube-lined, and really beautiful. Cup is 5.5 cm high (2.1/4 inches), and saucer is 11.5 cm diameter (4.1/2 inches).

Post Modern Paragon China Trio. Cup, saucer and plate by designer Reg Johnson, made by Paragon, fine bone china (by appointment to the Queen). Very Art Deco/Post Modern style, with crimson pattern to the inside of the cup, and centre of the plates. Gilded edges and handle flashings. Excellent condition.

Paragon Art Deco Coffee Can & Saucer. Bone china coffee can and saucer, from English maker Paragon. This is early period Paragon, when they were Star China, and the mark dates them to circa 1913-1919. The registration number is 705235. The pattern is silhouette figures of period-costume ladies and gentlemen in woodland settings. Yellow and black are the only colours used.
Can is 5.5 cm high (2.3/16 inch), and dished saucer is 11.5 cm diameter (4.1/2 inches).
Excellent condition.
