1690

Two Candlesticks, Doulton Lambeth Silicon. An unusual duo of candlesticks - Doulton, Lambeth, "Silicon". Clay coloured bodies with applied leaves and flowers borders in white, dark blue and pale greeny/blue. Incised drag design to bases. The mark is for 1881-1912. One stick has the incised marks "V" and "LL", the other has what looks like "C" and "oo". One stick is a slightly paler colour than the other, and the white applied decoration is a creamer shade. It is fractionally larger than the other. Possibly not made as a pair, but very very similar. No chips or cracks to either, but the stick with the white decoration has a little of the top white layer missing on the centre stem band - not noticeable, as the colour has remained.
Candlesticks measure 16cm high (6.1/4 inches) and the bases are 10cm (4 inches) diameter.
Circa: 1881-1912
Condition: Used

C9417

Doulton Lambeth Jardiniere, Victorian. Victorian Doulton stoneware jardiniere - beautiful design of semicircles and abstract flowers, very Japanese in style. The rim has cobalt blue glaze, and punched hole decoration. The mark is for the period 1880-1891. Other marks are an M in a circle, letter d in a circle, the letter h repeated both ways up, and the artist’s mark. See photos. Pot measures 17 cm high and 18 cm diameter (6.3/4 inches by 7 inches). Absolutely excellent condition. One of the prettiest Lambeth pots I’ve ever seen.

C6822

Set of Three Royal Doulton Graduated Jugs. A very pretty set of three jugs - large, medium and small - in the "April" pattern, circa 1939. Pattern number D 6087. Creamware bodies, green outlines to rims and handles, shaped edges and forties.
The pattern is of trailing violets, yellow primroses, and another yellow flower. Tallest jug stands 13.5cm high (5.1/4 inches), the medium is 10.5cm high (4.1/4 inches), and the smallest is 8cm (3.1/4 inches). All three carry the A mark. There are no chips or cracks, but all have a darkening to their feet, probably the result of being left for many years on an open shelf. This should be treatable.
Circa: Circa 1939
Condition: Very Good - see description
