Mother of Pearl Victorian Purse.
A quaint little purse, with beautiful carving of a sprig of flowers and a page on the front cover. The rear is plain. Both sides are mother fo pearl, and the inside is purple silk. The inside is original but the silk has split. The sides of the purse are slightly concertina , with a small amount of expansion on each side. Possibly this little purse was for holding something specific, not for money. Condition:
The mother of pearl is in excellent condition, the inside is as described previously, and the leather of the concertina sides has some small splits.
Size: 8 cm by 5 cm and 1.6 cm thick (3.1/8 inches by 2 inches and 5/8 inch thick).
Circa: Mid to Late 1800s

Vintage Beaded Evening Bag.
A beaded evening bag, dating from the 1920s. White and silver beads in a leaf pattern, with a satin-lined interior, and a wrist handle on the rear. Hand sewn inside and out. Bag measures 17 cm wide (6.3/4 inches) and 10.5 cm deep (4.1/4 inches). Very good condition.

Mother of Pearl Sided Purse.
An early 20th century coin purse. It is made from leather clad on either side with a single panels of mother of pearl. The shell is in its ridged natural state.
Inside, the purse is lined with bright red silk, with 2 concertina pockets on one side, and a clip-opening centre compartment, and a single pocket on the other.
Purse measures (closed) 6.5cm high by 8.75cm wide (2.1/2 inches by about 3.1/2 inches).
Very good original condition.

1920s Large Beaded Bag.
A large 1920s reticule, beaded with glass beads in a pattern of flowers on a green ground. Engraved metal purse frame has a pattern of bamboo leaves. Inside is lined with voile. Bag measures 19.5cm long (not including the chain length) by 19cm wide (7.3/4 inches by b7.1/2 inches). Excellent condition beading and frame, with just a few minor marks to the inside.

Bride or Bridemaids Hat.
A little oval of smoke blue silk, decorated with little fabric flowers in mauve and dark brown, set amongst pearls. Hat measures 18cm across (7 inches), and the flowers and pearls make a tail at the side. Would be held to the hair with hair grips. Very ornamental item - some overall fading of the silk, but still a pretty hat which could still be worn, and even added to.
