Blue Drip Glaze Stoneware Jar Vase. Lovely vase, baluster shape, with natural stoneware lower body and dark blue drip glaze top.
Stamped underneath with maker’s mark, but I just can’t quite read it. Measures 15 cm high and 10 cm diameter (6 inches by 4 inches). Excellent condition.

Luke Adams Pottery Jug, New Zealand. New Zealand pottery at its best - this very stylish example from a sought after potter has a tapering shape and set-in neck.
Base is well marked as Luke Adams, Pottery Works, Sydenham. This superb example measures 12cm high (4.3/4 inches) and 10.5 cm wide (4.1/8 inches). It is totally free from chips cracks and repairs. Good heavy weight.
Hard to find a better example and will please any collectors of NZ Pottery.

Heavy Salt Glazed Crock. A vintage crock, salt-glazed stoneware. Has self handles either side, and attractive brown mottled glaze. Very heavy. Measures 34cm high by 39cm wide handle to handle (13.1/4 inches by 15.1/4 inches). No lid. Has a shallow slice out of one rim edge internally. 20th century.

Large Stoneware Demijohn with Handle. Very nice stoneware vintage demijohn crock - it is two toned, with a black glaze top section and a stone coloured bottom section and handle. It has a crown symbol in blue under-glaze print on the front, with the number 3 central in it, and Gal underneath. Measures about 39 cm high and 25 cm diameter (15.1/2 inches by 10 inches approx.). Very good condition, just a small wear chip on the handle, and also one to the shoulder and two to the underneath foot rim.

Doulton Brown Stoneware Ink Bottle, Gloss Gla A Doulton Victorian or Edwardian period ink bottle, with pourer lip and beautiful treacle gloss glaze. Quite heavy for its size. Bears the Doulton circular mark. Measures 11.4 cm high by 5.75 cm diameter ( 4.1/2 inches by 2.1/4 inches). Excellent condition.

Stoneware Boot Black Bottle A brick coloured stoneware bottle, probably from boot black or ink. Measures 11.25cm high and 6.4cm diameter (4.1/2 inches by 2.1/2 inches). No maker’s marks. Found on an excavation in the historic whaling town of Russell, in New Zealand.

Stoneware Victorian Ink Bottle Late 19th or early 20th century stone ink or boot black bottle. Stoneware, with dark brown mattish glaze, and nicely shaped lip. Measures just over 14 cm high (5.1/2 inches). A few old rough edges underneath the bottle, but in excellent condition.

Pair Pottery Butter Pats. New Zealand 1970s hand thrown pottery, has the potter’s mark, which looks like it could be Peter Knuckey. Lovely little pair of butter pats, each 3.75 cm high and 5.75 cm diameter (1.1/2 inches by 2.1/4 inches). Excellent condition. Very collectable.

Australian Pottery Vintage Vase. Lovely colours of aqua and pink drip-glaze in this Australian vase. No maker’s marks. Measures 11.5 cm high and 11.5 cm diameter (4.1/2 inches by 4.5/8 inches).
It has two small glaze losses in inside neck rim, otherwise in lovely condition. Very attractive. Nice lumps and bumps to it.
