Venetian Glass Pink Mille Fiori Vintage Neckl Beautiful vintage beads - Venetian glass with little metal caps at the ends of each bead. Beads are graduated, and pinky peach colour with white and red mille fiori style canes. Brass barrel clasp. Necklace measures 635 mm long (25 inches). Largest central bead is 13 mm diameter and smallest beads near clasp are 9 mm diameter (1/2 inch by 3/8 inch). Excellent condition. Late 19th to early 20th century.

Long Strand of Victorian Polished Bone Beads. A Victorian necklace of polished bone beads - each bead has a knot between it, and the clasp is gold. Beads are approx. 12mm diameter (7/17 inch). They are the colour of old ivory, beautifully mellow. Two or three of the beads have a "squared" side, where a sliver of the bone has either not existed, or has come away. Excellent original condition - the strand measures 85cm long (33.1/ inches), and is very slightly graduated towards the clasp.

Vintage Carved Nut and Green Glass Necklace. Early 20th century necklace, made with nut beads carved with daisies (all open-work) and green glass, which looks like jade. Length of necklace is about 51 cm (20 inches). The nut beads are 1.6 cm diameter (5/8 inch), and the round green beads are 1.25 cm diameter (1/2 inch). Original condition, but very good.

Long String of Vegetable Ivory Beads. Beautiful dark brown vegetable ivory beads . (Vegetable ivory is carved from the kernel of nuts). They are carved in circles, and interspaced with tiny bronze colour glass beads. Continuous string, no clasp, with a total length of 100 cm (39.1/2 inches). Each bead is approx. 1.1 cm diameter (7/16 inch). Very good condition.

Small Amber Bead Necklace. Lovely early 20th century amber bead necklace - nice small proportions, with graduated beads. Centre largest bead measures 11.5 mm diameter and 14 mm long ( 7/16 inch and 9.16 inch). Smallest bead measures 5 mm diameter and 6 mm long (3/16 inch by 1/4 inch). Total length of necklace is 47 cm (18.1/2 inches). Very good condition.

Long Necklace Polished Gemstones in Wire. Vintage long necklace - beautiful colours in polished gemstones , each in a gold wire cage setting. Beads are each approx. 12 to 15 mm diameter and length (5/8 inch). Total length of necklace is 950 mm (37.1/2 inches). The wire is probably gold plated. Excellent condition.

French Jet Necklace. Pretty vintage French jet necklace - faceted black glass tapering beads with a lovely old-fashioned squeeze-and-pull clasp. Necklace is 475 mm long (18.3/4 inches). The beads are 7 mm diameter (1/4 inch). Strung on black linen thread. Would date from 1930s.

Marcasite and Mother of Pearl Necklace. Necklace made as costume jewelry with marcasite and faux mother of pearl. The design is lily-of-the-valley flowers, with the flower heads being in the pearly white simulated mother of pearl, set in white metal with beautiful marcasite. Necklace is 43 cm long (17 inches). Would date from 1930s-50s. Very good condition.

Vintage Pearl Beadwork Collar. Ornate collar, made in imitation pearls, with lacy work containing several different sizes and shapes of the faux pearls. It has a little hook and eye clasp, so could be worn over a plain dress. Probably dates from 1950s, maybe a little earlier. Collar is 5 cm deep (2 inches) and has an internal circumference of about 38.5 cm (15 inches). Excellent condition.

Rhinestone Crystal Necklace. Vintage necklace, in unusual graduated-size faceted tubular beads, joined by chain links. The crystal is shot through with colour (it’s sometimes referred to as Aurora Borealis effect). Necklace is 39 cm long (15.1/2 inches), but can be extended as there is an optional tassel effect at the hook, and you can hook further down the tassel. Maximum length is about 42.5 cm (16.3/4 inches). Front beads measure 9 mm diameter and about 15 mm long (3/8 inch by 5/8 inch). Excellent condition.

Art Deco Chinese Yellow Glass Beads. A long strand of yellow glass beads, each one engraved with a little drawing of a Chinese coolie face. strung on peach coloured twine, and knotted between each bead. Beads are 1 cm diameter (7/16 inch), necklace is 102 cm long (40 inches). Very good condition. Would date from 1920s-30s.

Chunky Pendant, Retro Style. Metal pendant, bronze colour with gloss enamel finish, scaly background, and set with three faceted crystals. Hangs on a metal chain, total length 47 cm expandable to 53 cm (18.1/2 inches to 21 inches). Pendant measures 4.8 cm diameter (1.7/8 inches). Excellent condition.

Bone and Glass Beads. A beautiful elegant bead necklace, made from oval diamond-shaped bone beads, inter strung with glittery clear to pale brown tube glass beads, and round clear glass intervals. Lovely colours of cream, beige, camel and silver. A continuous loop, this set of beads is 112cm long in total ( 44 inches) and can be worn once or wound twice around your neck. Excellent condition.

Small Enamel Russian Egg Pendant. Little pendant, a miniature copy of a Faberge egg. Gold plated Imperial eagle on the front, with an imitation diamond centrally set. The egg is decorated in green enamel. It measures 2.25 cm by 1.5 cm and 1.5 cm thick (7/8 inch by 5/8 inch and 9/16 inch thick). There are two small faults in the enamel on the rear side of the pendant, otherwise very good condition. This was bought from the Russian touring exhibition of Faberge’s work, when it came to Sydney quite some years ago, and is a replica of one of the eggs in the collection.

Large Shell Pearls Necklace, Dusky Pink. Modern necklace, made in shell pearls (pearls made from ground-up shell and coated). The colour is a dusky bronze/ beige/rose pink. They have a chunky gold plated clasp , and are knotted between each pearl.
The pearls are each 14 mm diameter (9/16 inch). The necklace is 41 cm long (16 inches). Very good condition, one or two minor scuffs.
