Victorian Ambrotype Photo of Four Women.
19th century ambrotype photo of four women - they all wear the same peaked cap, maybe a team, or nurses or some such. Very "alive" faces - you can imagine them all in modern times. Case is in the form of a little book with pretty clasp. There is some damage to the case inside, but the photo itself is excellent. Case measures 9.5 cm by 8.4 cm (3.3/4 inches by 3.5/16 inch).

Victorian Period Ambrotype Photo.
An antique ambrotype photo of an elderly woman dressed in the Victorian fashion - frilled white cap, lace collar etc. The little case the photo is mounted in has a pretty stamped velvet piece inside the left cover. The case is in quite good condition - the outside is a little rubbed, and has one small chip mark above the left spine on the front cover The spine is intact inside, but the outside is not, so although it is still hinged, it is a little loose. The ambrotype itself is in generally good condition, with only an area of crackle and black loss to the backing behind her left and right forearms. Measures (closed) 3.1/4 inches wide x 3.5/8 inches high x 1/2 inch thick. (8.5cm x 9.25cm x 1.25cm thick).

19th century Ambrotype photograph of a little girl with a very wary face. Small loop at the top for hanging. Case measures 9.2 cm by 8 cm (3.5/8 inches by 3.3/16 inch). A few scuffs and nicks, but in overall very good condition

Victorian Ivy Leaf Frame with Tin Type.
A pretty little frame, just 7cm high (2.3/4 inches). Made in metal, the design is ivy leaves. It has an easel stand at the rear. In the frame is an original tin type photo of a little baby girl. All in original very good condition.

Very nice late 19th century ambrotype, with case made like a little book. Inside, stamped velvet on one side, and ornately mounted ambrotype on the other. Item measures 9.5 cm by 8.4 cm (3.3/4 inches by 3.5/16 inch). Very good condition. No clasp to the case.
