The mounts and hinges are brass. They each measure 6.5cm high and 4.3cm square (just over 2.1/2 inches by just under 1.3/4 inches). Excellent condition, just a couple of very minor tiny nibbles to the edge of a couple of the facets. Rare to find a pair, and in such good condition. Circa: 1880s plus. The glass has an engraved gilded band of Greek key and fleur de lis, from which is suspended a chain pattern series of swags. All in all, a very decorative little decanter. The stopper (which is probably not original) is in very good condition, with just the tiniest of nibbles at the base inside. The decanter is in excellent condition.
