Clockwork Tin Toy, TPS Skater, Japan. 1950s-60s TPS (Japan) tintype clockwork toy. It is a roller skater animal (possibly squirrel - I don’t think its the Rabbit Happy Skater though). When wound, the skater skates in circles, pumping himself along with his right leg. Item measures 16.5 cm high (when upright) by about 13.5 cm wide when extended (6.1/2 inches by 5.1/4 inches). He is in excellent condition except that I suspect he once had fabric trousers covering his legs, and possibly ears, although the slots where these could possibly fit are much lower on the head than the rabbit. A few minor pepper marks to one hand. He skates well - trousers would be easily made.

Vintage Brown Kewpie or Finger Doll. Little hard plastic doll from the 1940s-50s. Brown with black moulded hair. One hand on tummy, other hand with finger to mouth. Painted white/black eyes. Doll measures 9.4 cm high (about 3.3/4 inches). Excellent condition - just some rub wear to the black paint of the hair. A real cutie!

Sailor Doll from the Cruise Liner Oronsay. Sailor doll, Empire sticker under his collar. The design is after Norah Wellings, who made the original dolls or the liners. He has an integral blue velvet suit, and cloth hands. Painted stiff cloth face. Very good condition. He measures about 21.5 cm high (8.1/2 inches).

Very Old Fun Ho Wagon, Swivel Axle. Vintage Fun Ho wagon - well played with, in need of restoration. Remains of green paint on body. Front axle swivels. Mould number underneath is 909 or 809 or similar. Fun Ho is on the moulded plastic wheels. Wagon (not including handle) measures 14.5 cm long by 7 cm wide and 5 cm high.
Condition: Missing two wheels, and one of existing wheels is split. Both axles show corrosion and wheels turn with difficulty. (Not sure if only the wheel should turn, or the whole axle? Axle doesn’t, anyway).

Set of Snooker Balls, Aramith. Boxed set of 17 pool balls, made by Aramith Balls, Belgium. Size 1.7/8 inches (4.7 cm). 10 reds, 1 pink, 1 orange, 1 blue, 1 green, 1 black, 1 brown and 1 ivory.
Very good condition. Box is a little scuffed. I think they’re made in Phenolic resin.

Mexican Glove Puppet, Made from Seed. A hand painted glove puppet. Mexican, made with a gourd head, and painted canvas dress. It has little wooden feet, and rope pig tails.
Measures 41 cm long (16 inches). Very good condition.

Handmade 1950s Dolls Head. Pretty dolls head, handmade and home made - it is a technique where stockings were used, coated in stiffeners and paint. Head is stuffed with 1950s newspaper. This head was made by the grandmother of its last owner - she made all the toys for her family during the Depression, and on into the early 1950s. Dolly has a loop on her head, which has a ribbon in it. You can see the texture of the stocking fabric, but she is beautifully made and painted. Some damage to the neck area and one little glueable split on her right ear, otherwise very good original condition. Head measures about 14 cm high and 9.5 cm wide (5.1/2 inches by 3.3/4 inches).

Old Edwardian Racing Game, Ascot. Lead Horses Boxed racing game, circa 1900-1910. Lead horses are attached by strings through little bone-circled holes in the front of the box. The horses are then reeled in by winding the bone handle at the side.
Only four rather battered horses survive, and all are missing bits. But the oak box is in very good original vintage condition, and the whole thing is very decorative.
Box measures 25.5 cm wide by 9 cm deep and 8 cm high (10 inches by 3.1/2 inches and 3 inches high).

1950s Pelham Puppet, Ballerina. Pelham puppet - this is The Ballerina, from the SL series, with the moulded head. She has a voile dress with brocaded bodice, and silver feet. The clothing is rather yellowed and age spotted, and her hair is getting ragged and coming out. No box. She is completely original - the clothing has never been cleaned, and there are no repairs. Great little lady from the past who could do with some TLC.
