Large Beswick Art Vase. Large Beswick vase, art pottery with a real 1950s flavour. Red glaze over brown matt glaze background - cut back incised effect, with an owl and a fawn in the woods. Vase measures 25.5 cm high and about 13.5 cm diameter (10 inches by 5.1/4 inches). Excellent condition.

Large Beswick Horse. Beswick horse, with the tail switched to one side of the flank - he measures 21.5 cm high and 16 cm long (8.1/2 inches by 10.1/4 inches). Excellent condition. Has the Beswick mark underneath.
The dots etc you see on the head in the photo are just reflections of my lights.

Carlton Ware Sea Shells Cruet Set. Vintage cruet set, made in the shape of sea shells on an oyster shell base. Mustard pot, tall salts and pepper and tray. Semi matt glaze finish, and marked in blue underglaze bold face type Carlton Ware, England. Tray measures 15 cm by 16 cm , and salt and pepper are each 9.5 cm high (tray 6 inches by 6.1/4 inches, and salt & pepper are 3.3/4 inches high). Excellent condition.

Carlton Ware Leaf Comport Bowl. Lettuce leaf style bowl on small stem and leaf foot - leaf and nut decoration to front. (Gum nuts and gum leaves?) Mark is for Carlton Ware, Made in England. Australian Design Application No. 10805. Rgd No. 789942. Bowl measures 9 cm high and 13.3 cm diameter (3.1/2 inches by 5.1/4 inches). No chips or cracks. Has some crazing, a little discoloured in bottom of bowl. Overall very good condition.

Carltonware Buttercup Jam Dish. A plain yellow Carltonware butter or jam dish. 11.3cm wide by 9.5cm deep (4.1/2 inches by 3.3/4 inches). 2.4cm high (about an inch). Excellent condition - no chips or cracks. There is a black glaze mark in the centre of the flower.

Rouge Royale Carlton Ware Tazza. Small comport or tazza dish from Carlton Ware in the Rouge Royale lustre finish with decoration of weeping trees and wading birds. Dish measures 5.5 cm high and 16.5 cm wide including the handles (2.1/4 inches by 6.1/2 inches).
Excellent condition. Still has its original paper label.

Carlton Ware Buttercup Sauce Boat and Saucer. Yellow Buttercup design Carltonware sauce boat and stand. Saucer measures 13 cm long (5.1/8 inches). Sauce boat stands about 5.25 cm high (2 inches). Very good condition - no chips or cracks. Clean crazing. Saucer carries the Carltonware backstamp, sauce boat has only the remains of the name.

Carltonware Foxglove Small Dish. Carlton Ware small dish, in the Foxgloves ddesign, with leaf diah and dark pink flowers on handle area. Dish measures 12.6 cm by 10 cm (5 inches by 4 inches). It has avery small chip on the rim, otherwise no damage.

Carltonware Biscuit Barrel, Circa 1894. Early Carlton Ware biscuit barrel - made circa 1894 to 1906. This is from the original Carlton Ware pottery of Wiltshaw & Robinson, stoke, in the Staffordshire Potteries, and carries the blue swallow backstamp. (In 1958 the new company Carlton Ware Ltd was formed). Barrel features a very Victorian design of carnations or pinks with enamel highlights. Lovely rope-beaded and gilded rim. The handle and lid are silver plated, made by Borries. The barrel is in excellent condition, with no damage at all. The silverplate shows wear and loss of silver especially on the lid. Quite a rare item, you don’t find much early Carltonware still intact. Measures about 7.1/2 inches high with the handle folded down, and 6 inches diameter (19 cm by 15 cm).

Royal Winton Lustre Fish Basket. A Royal Winton Alton ceramic basket - beautiful lustre ware in pearly finish of greens/blues/pinks. Lavishly gilded rims and edges. Each end of the basket has decoration of goldfish and a carp, and the sides are decorated with green marine plants. Basket measures 19.25cm by 14cm, and approx. 14cm high (7.1/2 inches by 5.1/2 inches, and 5.1/2 inches high). Very deco shape to basket and its feet. All in excellent condition. Printed Royal Winton’s 1950s mark underneath, with impressed name "Alton".
