Vintage Brass Cat Nut Crackers. Lovely old mellow brass nutcracker - in the shape of the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland.
English, they have a maker’s mark which I just can’t quite read "Peksage England" ??
They measure 13 cm long and 2.5 cm wide (5.1/8 inches by 1 inch). Very good condition - they just need a clean.

Welsh Lady Brass Bell. Nice small size brass bell, cast in the shape of a Welsh woman in traditional dress with high crown hat. Bell measures 7 cm high and 4.2 cm diameter (2.3/4 inches by 1.5/8 inches). Very good condition.

Chinese Brass Vase, Circa 1920s. Heavy brass vase, stamped "China" underneath. Relief decoration of branches and animal (bird? fish?). Vase stands 23 cm high and 12 cm diameter (9 inches by approx. 4.3/4 inches). Excellent condition.

Japanese Bronze Ovoid Vase, Signed. Beautiful classic shape - simple and perfect. Bronze vase, signed underneath (see photo). The sides are beautifully patinated, and have some crimson colour effects. Heavy piece, a superb vase. Quite small, measures 16 cm high and 7.25 cm diameter at the shoulders (6.1/4 inches high and 2.7/8 inch diameter at the widest point). Has a small short scratch mark on one side, otherwise perfect.

Vintage Brass Paperknife, Dante. Letter opener, large size with ornate head for the finial. Looks like Dante. Knife measures 22 cm long (8.1/2 inches). It is in very good condition, with one obvious seam on the rear, and a few age pits and dings. Very handsome letter opener.

Arts and Crafts Brass Tea Caddy. A hammered brass, lidded tea caddy - Arts and Crafts period. Has maker’s stamp of "Made in England. J.S & S. Solid Brass" underneath. Measures 10.4cm wide by 7.5cm deep by 12.3cm high (4.1/16 inches by 3 inches by 4.7/8 inches high). Basically in very good condition - has a few small indentations, including on top rim. Early 20th century. I haven’t cleaned it quite properly, which are the darker patches in the photos.

Three Matching Brass Candelsticks. Wouldn’t these look good on a long dining table! Brass candlesticks with octagonal bases, and cotton reel stems - unusually, three in this set. They each measure 24.5 cm high and 9.5 cm diameter at the base (9.3/4 inches by 3.3/4 inches). They have felt underneath, so would date early to mid 20th century. Condition is very good - there is a little minor unevenness to the top drip catchers, and the felt underneath is speckly on one. They could good do with a good polish also.

Don Toney Limited Edition Golfing Bronze "In the Rough" is the title of this limited edition bronze figurine. Dated 1991, and signed "Don Toney", this is number 34 of 100. Figurine is of man with golf clubs, with golf ball in front of him., mounted on turned oak plinth. Measures 18cm high (7.1/8 inches). Base of wood is 9cm diameter (3.1/2 inches). Great gift for the golfer in your family!

Bronze Tray, made from Wedding Invitation A little 14.5 x 11cm bronze tray (5.1/4 inches by 4.1/4 inches) - it is made from the original printing plate for a wedding invitation (an engraved invitation), of a wedding held in in the year.
If you put the copper to a mirror (as the writing is reversed for printing) it reads" Lieutenant and Mrs Frank Roberts Mead have the honour of announcing the marriage of their daughter, Barbara Cook to Major John Goodman Hodges, Royal Army Service Corps, Tuesday, the twenty sixth of June, One thousand, nineteen hundred and forty five. Holy Trinity Church, London, England." A June wedding in 1945.
The tray has a maker’s mark stamped under the rim "Tiffany & Co., Makers, Bronze.w."
Needs a polish, but in excellent condition. We have another printer’s plate tray from the same family, in which the parents of the above bride are married. A lovely memento.
