Azores Sperm Whale Tooth Scrimshaw, Signed. A genuine sperm whale’s tooth from the Azores, with modern scrimshaw decoration of two dolphins or whales leaping. Signed Jill, ‘81. Tooth measures about 7.2 cm high and 2.5 cm wide at the base (about 2.3/4 inches by 1 inch wide at the base). Excellent condition.

Vintage Light Bulb, Patterned Yellow. Old light bulb with very round bulb area with patterned design on the glass. Three prong filament, non-working. Around the base of the screw area is: 25w 120-125V Jewel. (From USA). Bulb measures 11 cm high and 8 cm diameter (4.1/4 inches by 3.1/8 inches). Great for a display of vintage coloured bulbs.

Vintage Brass Cat Nut Crackers. Lovely old mellow brass nutcracker - in the shape of the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland.
English, they have a maker’s mark which I just can’t quite read "Peksage England" ??
They measure 13 cm long and 2.5 cm wide (5.1/8 inches by 1 inch). Very good condition - they just need a clean.

Six Small Crystal Drops or Lustres. Six crystal lustres or drops, from an old chandelier - they each measure 5.5 cm long (top crystal and lower tear-shaped crystal). The lower crystal is 2.4 cm wide (2.3/16 inch by about 1 inch). Very good condition.

Bell, Policemans Helmet. Novelty bell, made in the form of an English policeman’s helmet. Metropolitan Police badge. (London bobby). Bell is made in white metal - could be pewter, brassed colour inside. Measures 6.8 cm high, by 7.4 cm by 5.6 cm (2.3/4 inches by just under 3 inches by 2.1/4 inches). Very good condition.

1920s Table Bell on Marble Base. This little table bell has a chromed top and a marble base. You ring it by turning the knob at the top. This is what one would have had at the dining table, so that with a ring of the bell, the maid would know to enter the room and clear away the plates for the next course.
Bell measures 7.5 cm diameter (just under 3 inches) and 7 cm high (2.3/4 inches). Bell mechanism and the marble base are in excellent condition. The chromed top to the bell needs re-chroming, as it has bubbled.

Bookmark, Enameled and Gilded. Vintage bookmark, looks to be Middle Eastern - the head is enamelled in pink, blue, white and aqua. The metal appears to be gilded brass. It measures 7.5 cm long (just under 3 inches). It has an O ring through the bottom of the enamelled section, though I cant think what for what purpose this would be. Very good condition.

Vintage Car Mascot, Flying Lady. Old chromed car bonnet mascot - a naked woman, in much the same pose as the Spirit of Ecstasy (Rolls Royce icon ) except there are no wings/drapery. Very Art Deco - her hair is in a bun at the rear, and the side pieces fly out like wings. Screw fitting for attachment.
She measures about 14 cm high to the bonnet level, and 12.5 cm long (5.1/2 inches by 5 inches). Basically in good sound condition, and nicely modelled - she has some marks and the very tips of her fingers on one hand have been broken, although this has been ground smooth. Her nose is a little snub. The chrome is worn where her legs would sit on the bonnet of the car. She has what seems to be the letter P 5 incised on her left shoulder (in the mould). Very striking item!

1930s Light Bulb, Yellow Rose Shape. Figural lightbulb in the shape of a rose, Yellow painted finish with green leaves. Marked around the screw base: 115V 12CP M50K. Also marked Austria at the lower edge. Measures 8.5 cm high by 5.2 cm diameter (3.5/16 inch by 2.1/16 inch). Has scratched area to the paint on one side and through this one can see what appears to be very fine looped filaments. I don’t know if it works or not. Great for a collector’s display.

Alabaster Book Paperweight. Vintage paperweight, made in alabaster in the shape of a small book - it has realistically gilded page edges and gilded detailing to spine. Measures 1.5 cm high, and 9 cm by 6.3 cm (9/16 inch by 3.9/16 inch by 2.1/2 inches). Some wear to the gilding on page edges at top and bottom, otherwise excellent condition.

Five Crystal Glass Lustres or Drops. Chandelier drops, five of them measuring 16 cm long (6.1/4 inches). From an old chandelier. Great for hanging in a window. Selling all together, as airmail post on one wouldn’t be economical (there’s a minimum charge from the Post Office here). Very good condition.

Set of 11 Cocktail Forks Little boxed set of vintage cocktail forks - could also be used for oysters. Box reads "New York Cocktail Forks. Stainless Steel". They have a W in a circle brand on the rear. Handles are chamfered at the ends, and are made of a hard black synthetic material. Each fork is 9.8 cm long (3.7/8 inches). There are eleven of these. (1 absent space in box). Excellent condition.

Written around the screw base is: 110V 16 CP M50K. Came from the USA, but possibly made in Europe. Measures 13.3 cm long by 6.3 cm diameter (5.1/4 inches by 1,1/2 inches). Some minor loss of paint to the red, one small scratch in the frosting. Otherwise, in very good condition. Can’t tell if it works or not. Great for a collector’s display.
