Vintage Light Bulb, Patterned Yellow. Old light bulb with very round bulb area with patterned design on the glass. Three prong filament, non-working. Around the base of the screw area is: 25w 120-125V Jewel. (From USA). Bulb measures 11 cm high and 8 cm diameter (4.1/4 inches by 3.1/8 inches). Great for a display of vintage coloured bulbs.

Manchester Unity Oddfellows Lodge Collar. Vintage Lodge collar from the order of Oddfellows including two medals. Bears the label for Henry Slingsby Ltd, Regalia and Masonic Clothing Manufacturers, Nuneaton". Sash is embroidered in gold thread "Past Grand M U" and "Auckland District O. F." Purple velvet with purple silk lining, and ornate gold tasselling to the edges. It has a wonderful gold covered ball at the front centre. Has two medals attached: One is for Manchester Unity Friendly Society (base metal with ribbons and brooch top) and the other is much older,made in silver, with enamelled front "Independent Order of Oddfellows Manchester Unity". Hanging from base metal brooch attachment.
Collar/sash measures about 70 cm long or diameter front to back (about 27.1/2 inches).
Inside is glued label for "Sis. K. Crapp". (Sister - so this was a woman’s collar). Some rubbing to a bit of the silk lining, but in very good condition overall.

Vintage Brass Cat Nut Crackers. Lovely old mellow brass nutcracker - in the shape of the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland.
English, they have a maker’s mark which I just can’t quite read "Peksage England" ??
They measure 13 cm long and 2.5 cm wide (5.1/8 inches by 1 inch). Very good condition - they just need a clean.

1920s Table Bell on Marble Base. This little table bell has a chromed top and a marble base. You ring it by turning the knob at the top. This is what one would have had at the dining table, so that with a ring of the bell, the maid would know to enter the room and clear away the plates for the next course.
Bell measures 7.5 cm diameter (just under 3 inches) and 7 cm high (2.3/4 inches). Bell mechanism and the marble base are in excellent condition. The chromed top to the bell needs re-chroming, as it has bubbled.

Onyx Marble Book Paperweight. Vintage paperweight, made in onyx marble in the shape of a small book - it has realistically gilded page edges and gilded detailing to spine. Measures 1.5 cm high, and 9 cm by 6.3 cm (9/16 inch by 3.9/16 inch by 2.1/2 inches). Some wear to the gilding on page edges at top and bottom, otherwise excellent condition.

Vintage Round Card Pill Box. Little circular pill box, made of card with doctor’s directions on front. Beck’s Pharmacy, Wairoa. Hand written: Take 3 times a day after meals. Mrs Cone. Measures 1.75 cm high and 4.5 cm diameter (11/16 inch by 1.3/4 inch). Very good condition.

Pocket Knife, Vintage, with Two Blades. Vintage pocket knife with imitation mother of pearl handle. Stamped on the top of the blade "Made in Sheffield, England". 85 mm long, closed and 13 mm wide (3.3/8 inches by 1/2 inch). Some pitting to the caps of metal on the exterior, but blades are in very good used condition. Overall, very good condition. Mid 20th century.

Turned Wooden Dumbell. Looks like a dumbbell, but has no weight - there are incised bands around the top, possibly one had lead bands inserted here. Otherwise, its the biggest two-ended darning egg I’ve ever come across!
Measures 20 cm long (8 inches) and 7 cm diameter (2.3/4 inches). Some bruises and small wood splits, but very good vintage condition.

Vintage Light bulb, Streetlamp Shape, 1930s. Lovely old light bulb from the 1930s. Frosted glass with dark red pattern. Moulded shape. Screw fitting. Written around the screw base is: 110V 16 CP M50K. Came from the USA, but possibly made in Europe. Measures 13.3 cm long by 6.3 cm diameter (5.1/4 inches by 1,1/2 inches). Some minor loss of paint to the red, one small scratch in the frosting. Otherwise, in very good condition. Can’t tell if it works or not. Great for a collector’s display.

Large Horn Beaker. Beaker made from horn - these were used for drinking when out shooting on the estate - to keep the weather at bay! This one is large, at 10.65 cm high and 6.2 cm diameter at the top (4.1/4 inches by about 2.1/2 inches). It has a few surface marks, but in very good condition. Circa late 19th century to early 20th century.

Original Old Box of Candles for Candle Lamps. Vintage box of twelve 6 inch candles - "Green’s Arctic Lights (by Royal Letters Appointment) Specially Prepared Candles with Ebonax Base for burning in Arctic and Other Candle Lamps". The candles are all there - I don’t why they call them 6 inch candles, because they actually measure 12.5 cm long (just under 5 inches) and are 2 cm diameter )3/4 inch). They are a bit dusty, and the box is a little discoloured, but all in all a very original and quaint set.
