A badge from World War Two - the National Savings Movement badge, bearing the motto “Lend to Defend”. In red enamel, with St George and the Dragon in blue enamel. Maker’s stamp is Tove & Co, London. Badge measures 1.1/2 inches (4cm) high and 1.1/4 inches (3cm) wide. In good condition. A small area where the glaze (but not the colour) is off the enamel. |
