A lovely pair of tongs - a bit big for sugar nips, could be small sandwich or canapé tongs? In the Kings Plate pattern, and made by William Hutton and Sons. The curve between the two sides is engraved with the initial "H". A very good quality item, and would date from the late Victorian period. (Late 19th century). In very good condition. |
