A little oval of smoke blue silk, decorated with little fabric flowers in mauve and dark brown, set amongst pearls. Hat measures 18cm across (7 inches), and the flowers and pearls make a tail at the side. Would be held to the hair with hair grips. Very ornamental item - some overall fading of the silk, but still a pretty hat which could still be worn, and even added to. |
