Country of Origin: United Kingdom
Beautiful Old Sheffield Plate coaster, pierced work sides with a design of acanthus leaves and flower heads. Beaded rim with dark oak turned wood bottom. This would date from circa 1800. It measures 4.75 cm high and 12.2 cm diameter (1.7/8 inches by 4.3/4 inches).
Very good condition. A little bleed showing on the edges (see photos), but otherwise excellent for the age. No maker’s mark. |
