Manufacturer: Aynsley, Staffordshire.
Quaint cup and saucer in the tennis cup style - but instead it has the message "Wake Up!!!" and a lovely hand highlighted rooster crowing at the rising sun. Nice handle at the side of the saucer makes it easy to carry.

| Made by top English pottery J. Aynsley & Sons in Staffordshire, England. It carries two registration marks, which dated it between 1905 and about 1912. Saucer is about 17.5 cm wide by 11 cm deep (7 inches by 4.1/4 inches), and the little cup is 5 cm high and 7.5 cm diameter (2 inches by 3 inches). Excellent condition. We have a matching cup and saucer elsewhere in this category if you wanted to buy a pair. |
