Indian Silver Salt Pepper and Mustard Set. Small Raj silver 3 piece condiment set - hinged-lid mustard pot, pepper pot and open salt. Embossed patterns to the bodies - the mustard and the salt both have scenes of villages and palm trees, and the pepper has scrolls and flowers. All have the same legs, finials and shape. The pepper has a bung underneath that unscrews for filling. Mustard measures 5.7 cm high with a body 4.4 cm diameter. The pepper is 5.1 cm high and 3.8 cm diameter, and the salt is 3 cm high and 4.1 cm diameter. Both Mustard and salt have "8." impressed underneath (possibly 800 silver), and the pepper has something very faint and unreadable stamped around the underneath stopper. Very good condition. No liners, made without them.

Antique Sugar Tongs, Gorham Sterling Silver. American Gorham silver tongs, dating 1890s. Pretty, ornate pattern. One of the two presentation panels has the initial "R" engraved in gothic script. They measures 10.6 cm long (about 4.1/2 inches). Excellent condition. Lump sugar has made a comeback, so these are very usable today. If not for sugar, how about for the ice cubes in your gin?

Pair of Edwardian Cut Glass Perfume Bottles. Silver banding on the necks of the scent bottles - British hallmarks for London 1906. Maker is J H Worrall, Son & Co Ltd. The bottles are rectangular, measuring 10 cm high, by 3 cm deep and 5 cm wide. Some minor denting to one silver collar, otherwise very good condition.

Gilded Silver Lady's Card Case, 1907. Sterling silver, gilded, Edwardian calling card case. It has a chain strap and finger ring, so possibly could also have been used as a dance card holder. Purse-shaped, with fold-over lid and unusual embossed crocodile skin effect to the silver. Brushed gilding inside, polished gilding to exterior. Full British hallmarks for Chester, 1907. Maker's mark is C.C. for Colen Hewer Cheshire.
Item measures 4 cm by 10 cm, and 8 mm thick. TW: 78.3g, not including the metal chain. Very good condition - just a little discolouration to the round engraving panel.

Small Sterling Silver Cigarette Case, 1934. Small Art Deco cigarette case, with British hallmarks for Birmingham 1934 - the only year that showed the double heads of the new monarchs, King George VI and Queen Mary. Maker's mark is for J. Collyer Ltd, Birmingham. Case has engine-turned engraving in the Deco manner, and measures8.2 cm by 6 cm.The interior is gilded (to stop tainting of the cigarettes by silver tarnish) and has one restrainer band - although it has lost its elasticity. Excellent condition.

George III Sterling Silver Creamer, London 1809. Sterling silver Georgian period cream jug, hallmarked for London 1809, maker Alice and George Burrows II. Weight 4.25 troy oz. (approx. 132g). Reeded decoration to waist and handle, and sitting on four ball feet. Measures 10 cm high, 13.5 cm long and 7.6 cm deep (4 inches by 5.1/4 inches by 3 inches). Excellent condition.

Georgian Christmas Cutlery Pair in Red Morocco Box 1825 Knife and fork in presentation case covered in red Moroccan leather. Fork hallmarked Sheffield 1825 & matching close-plate knife, heavy semi precious stone handles - maybe agate or quartz or chalcedony. Maker's mark on both is E & S. Knife is 21 cm long, and fork is 16 cm long. Fork has pickle fork style tines. The close-plate on the knife has some peeling at the edge, and both handles have fissures, probably original to the stone they are made from (tight lines through the material). Rare set.

Georgian Silver Sucriere, circa 1805. Large two handled sterling silver sucriere, maker's mark partially rubbed - possibly PB or PR - London 1805. Oval outline with banded floral decoration and reeded handles. 17cm wide, 10 cm deep and 10 cm high. Very good condition. Good weight at 227.6 grams.

Sterling Silver Crested Salt Spoon, Georgian Period. Sterling silver salt or mustard spoon, plain form with rat tail back finial. Engraved crest, possibly a tree stump. Assay marks are rubbed, and there is no town stamp, but the most likely would be Exeter, 1835. (Actually William IV period).
Maker's marks appear to be G. something over T.E. or T.B. Spoons is 9.7 cm long. Very good condition. 7.94g.

Silver Georgian Period Creamer, 1808. Sterling silver creamer (also suitable shape for a sauce boat) - hallmarks for London 1808. Maker's mark is possibly I.W. Lobed sides with an engraved family crest of a winged dragon on each side. Squat shape on circular foot, with the remains of gilding to the interior, and a pretty scroll and flower embossed pattern to the rim. Measures 8.6 cm high and 14.5 cm handle to spout. Old repair to the foot, and to the spout. TSW: 171g. Presents very well.

Sterling Silver Serving Spoon, 1817. Pretty spoon with engraved pattern of ribbon swags. Initials on finial are "J M R 1817". The hallmark is for London 1817. The maker's mark is W.E, probably William Eaton, and the stamp shape is most like his. Spoon measures 19 cm long, with a bowl 4.2 cm wide. Some age scratches inside bowl and a couple of very small minor dents. One possibly repair to a tear? in side of bowl. See images. Good aged condition. TSW: 34g.

Georgian Silver, Large 6 Slice Toast Rack, 1810. Sterling silver toast rack, hallmarked for London, 1810, in the first year of the Regency of the future George IV over his father George III. Maker's mark is HN probably for Henry Nutting, or could be Hannah Northcote. Rack is 2.8 cm high (5 inches), 16 cm long and 10 cm wide. Sitting on four ball feet, it can accommodate 6 slices of toast, and is an elegant delicate design. Very good condition. TSW: 246g.

Sterling Silver Serving Spoon, Fiddle Pattern. Antique silver spoon, with hallmarks for Exeter 1848, in the reign of Queen Victoria. Pattern if engraved leaves etc on finial and stem, and the initials "G I R" or could be J I R, at the top of the finial. Slightly worn tip to bowl, and a little bit battered, with a green salts mark. Maker's mark is RW over JW over JW, for Robert, James & Josiah Williams , Exeter. Spoon measures 20.5 cm long, with a bowl 4.3 cm wide. TSW: 43g.

Sterling Silver Victorian Small Bowl, Wm. Wise & Son. Pretty sterling silver Victorian bowl, quite deep, standing on four well-detailed pad feet. It has an ornate scrolled rim. Maker is William Wise & Son (New York, USA). Stamped Sterling, with lion mark and pattern number. Made circa 1882-1903. It measures 7.5 cm high, 16 cm wide and 13 cm deep (3 inches by 6.1/4 inches by 5.1/8 inches). Initials engraved in script on one side underneath the rim "E.P.A." (could be E.J.A.). Condition is very good - a few little marks inside the bottom of the bowl from use, and one foot could possibly do with a slight bending to give it a more even stance (a very easy job for a silversmith). Weight is 195 grams.
