Good Quality Large Cut Crystal Ashtray. Vintage crystal bowl ashtray - very heavy, and a large size at 16.5 cm diameter and 5 cm high (6.1/2 inches by 2 inches). Beautiful work, with large square starburst underneath and star hobnail and other designs on the curving sides. There are four shallow areas where the cigarettes are to rest - one of these has a curved chip. (The last photo is an extreme close-up of the chip).
Because of the busy pattern, it could pass as a bowl for floating flowers or similar. Apart from the chip described, it is in excellent condition. Probably mid 20th century or earlier.

Pretty Georgian stemmed glass with plain foot and ovoid bowl which has gilded rim and decoration of a stylised flower with leaves and buds, and small leaf on rear of glass. Pontil mark underneath. Glass measures 12.5 cm high with a foot rim of 6.2 cm diameter and a bowl of 5.4 cm diameter. Slight wear to the gilding, otherwise excellent condition. Circa early 19th century to 1820.

Very Large Stuart Cut Crystal Bowl, Abstract Design. Large and very heavy - a very good quality crystal bowl from Stuart of England, rings like a bell. Diagonal abstract noughts and crosses design. Design looks circa 1960s, although could be a lot earlier. It has a lot of age wear, so maybe as early as 1930s. Under the base has scuffs, indicating age and usage. Inside the bottom of the bowl are lots of scratches and wear. Probably used as a large-gathering salad bowl. Conical bowl measures 33 cm diameter at the top and 16 cm high. No chips or cracks.
(Stuart Crystal, after being bought out by Wedgwood/Waterford in 1995, and closed 6 years later, so sadly is no longer with us).
