Victorian Paste and Silver Buckle. 19th century buckle, made in silver and set with little paste diamante flowers and scrolls. Hinged fabric flange to the back. Buckle measures 33 mm by 55 mm (1.1/14 inches by 2.1/8 inches). Excellent condition, no stones missing at all.

Rare Scottish Silver and Agate Button Hook. Very lovely button hook with the handle inlaid with green and rust stones from bonnie Scotland. Made circa late 19th century. The rear of the handle is engraved with a trail of leaves. The hook is plated steel, and the handle is silver plate. Whole measures 16.5 cm long. Excellent condition, normal small wear to steel of hook, but all good and a very unusual item. Items with Scottish stones like this (sometimes referred to as Cairngorm pebbles) were popular mementos of Scotland in the Victorian era.

Large Victorian Embroidered Fan. Large antique hand fan, later 1800s, with gold decorated wooden sticks, and embroidered satin body. The cream satin is embroidered in dark cream silk with gold thread branches. Flowers and foliage design, with brass loop and silk tassel. Fan measures 34.5 cm high and 3.4 cm wide when closed. Open fully, it measures 64.5 cm wide. Very good antique condition, some age marks to the satin, mainly at the end two slats, and the tassel is a little worn.

Victorian Treen Glove-Powder Dispenser. Antique turned wood little Treen powder dispenser - mid to late 1800s. Ladies (and gentlemen) would shake a small amount of powder inside their gloves, which made pulling on the gloves easier to achieve. Small size and screw-top meant it could be carried in a purse or reticule. It has a double-screw top - one part opens the bottom container for filling, and the top-most one has the little pointed end for placing in your gloves. Measurements: 6.3 cm high and 2.4 cm diameter at its widest point. Very good condition, just two tiny blemishes on the wood. No cracks or splits.

Pair of Whale Bone Handled Boot Pulls. Pair of gentleman's old boot pulls (for pulling your boots on). They have plated metal pulls and turned whale-bone handles. Stamped "Made in England" to metal, so probably circa 1910-1930s. They each measure 18.5cm long. The handle is a hefty 7.5 cm wide by 2.7 cm diameter. Condition: Whalebone is in very good condition. The metal has some surface light rust, but only surface - these are a very strong pair of pulls.

Silver Handled Button Hook, Chester 1907. Ornate button or stays hook - hall marked for Chester 1907, Edwardian period. Sterling silver handle is embossed with scrolls and a blank cartouche. Lower part is steel. Item measures 19.5 cm long (7.3/4 inches). Handle is in excellent condition. Steel has minor small blooms, but nothing that wouldn’t come off.

Pair Japanese Fans, for Lady and Gent. Modern - about 15 years old - pair of fans still in their original box. They are paper fans, with bamboo sides. Small one for a woman, larger one for the man. The scene on them is Miyajima.
Smallest fan measures 19.5 cm long, and the other is 22 cm long (7.3/4 inches and 8.3/4 inches). Excellent mint condition.

The sterling handle is in excellent condition. The plated steel hook has plating wear showing some signs of surface corrosion. Very attractive item.

Silver Handled Antique Glove Stretchers. Edwardian glove stretchers, hallmarked for Birmingham 1901, the last year of Victoria's reign and the first year of the reign of Edward VII. Plated steel blades. All in excellent condition - just the usual tiny, tiny dents in the silver where the stretchers would rest on a dresser surface. It is very unusual to see the steel blades in such immaculate condition, usually since the steel pre-dates stainless, they spot or peel.
