Antique Tin, Chinese Gardens Design, Cake Tin, 1911. Lovely square tin with highly embossed sides and lid depicting scenes from a Chinese garden. Lids closes firmly, hinged at rear.
Underneath is "By Appointment to His Majesty King George V. MacFarlane, Lang & Co's Biscuits & Cakes. Glasgow and London, established 1817". Tin measures 18 cm by 16 cm, and 6.5 cm high. Tin is in very good condition - some very minor wear, but one of the best I've ever had.
Circa: 1911

Early Gallahers Cigarette Tin, Mosaic Pattern. Good quality vintage tin, made for Gallaher's High Class Cigarettes. It is patterned to look like and inlaid box - a mosaic of inlaid mother of pearl etc like Khatam work - except is all just printed tin. Lid has a faux carved wood area. Very nice work, double skin lid. Tin measures 4 cm high, by 20.5 cm long and 8 cm wide. Excellent condition, minor marks inside.

Green Glass Codd Bottle with Marble. Good green glass codd bottle - green marble inside. Two part moulded body with applied neck. Underneath has an embossed star stamp with "T" inside it. Also the letters 4 and 8 widely spaced apart. Bottle measures 19.75 cm high and 5.2 cm diameter (7.3/4 inches by 2 inches). Excellent condition, quite heavy.

Antique Medicine Bottle, Davis Vegetable Pain Killer. Antique aqua glass narcotic medicine bottle, Davis Vegetable Painkiller - Davis on the front, vegetable to one side and pain killer to the other. BIM tooled lip. Circa late 19th century - 1880s or so. One of the popular cure-all medicines of the Victorian era, it contained drugs such as alcohol and opium.
Bottle measures 15.2 cm high by 4.8 cm wide and 2.3 cm deep. Small tight short approx. 7 mm hairline on rim from the mould seam, nothing serious, excellent condition otherwise. Minor washable dirt inside.

Antique Chas. Fletcher's Castoria Medicine Bottle. Medicine bottle, early 1900s. Chas. H. Fletcher's Castoria embossed down the sides. (Castoria was a laxative compound, supposedly a substitute for castor oil). Pale green glass. Has mould seams, so machine made probably. Measures 14.7 cm high by 4.8 cm wide by 2.5 cm deep. No damage at all. Minor internal dirt.

Bottle measures 21.25 cm high and 7.7 cm diameter. A little grubby, but in very good condition, no chips or cracks.

Trade Mark Registered". Bottle measures 23 cm high and 6.6 cm diameter at the base. Minor small faults to neck rim. Really nice bottle. First New Zealand cod bottle that I've had.

Finley Acker Co, USA, Old Bottle. Pickle bottle? Has a crowned shield logo embossed on front with "A" in a wreath, and H G in script. Below is Finley Acker Co, Philadelphia and Atlantic City. Bottle measures 17 cm high and 5.6 cm diameter (6.3/4 inches by 2.1/4 inches). Glass has a purplish tinge to it. Two part mould with added neck rim. No damage at all - lovely bubbles in the glass (see neck).
Circa: 19th or Early 20th Century?

Old Aqua Glass Tricopherous Bottle, New York Old aqua glass bottle, with applied neck. Two part mould, then neck spun on. Embossed in glass on the front panel "Tricopherous for the Skin and Hair". On the rear panel is Directions in the Pamphlet", and on the sides are "Barry’s, New York". Bottle measures 16 cm high, 5.3 cm wide and 3.2 cm deep (6.1/4 inches by 2.1/8 inches by 1.1/4 inches). Dirty inside, and may have been in the sea. No chips at all. There is a sort of stress crack internal to the glass in the neck. Excellent condition overall.

Antique Large Gin Bottle, Dark Coloured. Bottle standing 26 cm high (10.1/4 inches), glass is a dark olive green. Bottle is square section and tapers from neck to base. Base is concave. Applied neck. This would have been a gin bottle, and could date from as early as the early 19th century. Bottle measures 8.8 cm square at shoulders, and 6 cm square at bottom. Excellent condition, but has age scuffs and some crazing to the glass. Great shape.
